With that in mind we have lots of events that will be of interest to you. For example, meeting the needs of the people, praying for the needy, culture days, sports day, crusades and many more.
Our History
House of Prayer Fellowship was extraordinary. The year was December 1997, started with 4 dedicated people, who was formed to spread the Christian gospel in the power of the Holy Spirit within the London area. A crusade was held shortly after, where we saw the hands of God moved. From there we began to grow. Other men, women and young people join the ministry moving forward with the vision. This growing group of Pentecostal believers found fresh identity in their experience of baptism in the holy spirit. During that time, we had testimonies that blew our minds raising our faith to another level.
The word began to spread, and during this time the founders of House of Prayer regularly preached all over Britiain, USA, Africa and Europe and so in demand all over the globe.
It has not been easy for these early House of Prayer pioneers. They had launched out with confidence that God would equip them at every stage. Yet they had faced much opposition as well as practical and organisational challenges within the House of Prayer movement.
Yet the House of Prayer movement would still move, season by season, with a deep conviction that God had birthed this ministry with a purpose. Our belief still stands strong, always in expectation to the pioneer values and practices – the DNA of PRAYER – which had characterised those very small beginnings.
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
2 Chronicles 7:14
